Maths Strategies

Our current maths focus is multiplication and division.

At our initial class discussion many of us were a little nervous about learning all of our times tables as we saw it to be such a huge task to do.

So we started talking about different rules and tricks we can do to make it easier for us, for example when you multiply something by 0 it always equals 0.

We then discovered that it's not that scary if we remember the tips and tricks.

We then had a go at the challenge below. Try it yourself, how many combinations can you do??

Multiplication Grand Prix

Here is a fun multiplication game for you to try. 

Create a player, and challenge other people around the world to win the race.

It's a good fun way to learn your multiplication facts.
